Umm. What happened here? Someone else messaged me and paid for them...Tree Frog?? I didn't realize that wasn't you.
That would suck if someone just cut his throat on them.

Doesn't mean someone wasn't reading and decided they wanted it.
I hope that's not the case.
If someone did do that; I'd refund the money and let HCDawg buy them since he was the one you offered them to and he agreed.

I think that's what happened. About 2 minutes before HCDawg posted "sold". I got a pm asking if I take paypal. I didn't think to compare the user name to the post, so I sent my paypal info and received payment a few minutes later. Of course I also didn't realize that HCDawg was in Canada, so I would've had to make some adjustments to my offer if it was gonna cost a lot to ship. But still... At any rate, Tree Frog technically was the first to offer to buy them -- but that was kind of uncool how that went down.
My apologies to HCDawg.

That blows. Sorry HCDawg. You can still go with Chrome Sockets. Many have done it and it's less expensive.

The part that sucks about this is someone who I consider a fellow intruder rider watched this post and knew the conversations were all aimed at me and my immediate requirements that everyone was helping me with, snuck in and bought them before I had the chance. To bad, leaves a bad taste.

I hear that brother. I hear that.
Don't let it deter you though. I've never seen or heard of anything like that happen before so it's not common.
You've still got options and people here to help you.

I'd be pissed at both parties.
But I am an old, irritable bass turd!

Oh not deterred, surprised....actually while at dinner at Jack Astors, they give you crayons and your table has a paper table cloth, the wife went for a smoke and I drew some spacer ideas that would allow me to use bungie cords and not touch the paint, hope this drawing turns out

Very cool idea, you could have them turned from aluminum stock at a machine shop. I imagine they would not be that expensive to make.

Ok. I feel much better. I've been kinda f* up about this all day and want to do the right thing. I appreciate that Tree Frog. I was actually signing on to say that I need to refund your money. Glad to see we can all be civil and work it out.
