Welcome Aboard
If I knew I was going to live this long, I would've taken better care of myself.
And when I get to heaven St. Peter I will tell, another Marine reporting sir I've spent my time in hell and when I look around me oh what I see, a hundred thousand more Marines standing next to me.

I know the feeling. Been a Honda rider since I was 5. Almost felt like a traitor when I bought my suzuki but I am falling in love with it fast.
There are some differences though.

I traded in a near mint 1982 GL500 Honda Silverwing Interstate that only had 1200 miles on it when I bought it...I hated to see it go, but last year when i got rid of it I needed the money for tuition. This spring I got a student loan refund and started kicking myself for getting rid of that beauty of a Honda...and I am kicking myself no more. I now have a 1987 Suzuki Intruder of the 1400 variety...and holy cow, what a bike! I'm converted. No matter what BS has gone on throughout the day, when I'm on that bike I'm smiling!

Hey we have the same bike bro- midnight blue right? Mine only has 6k miles and has cobra drag pipes other than that she's all stock... I know what you mean by fallin in love with it- or her- once you get used to the way she handles you understand why there is only ONE instrument to look at while your riding and it always says your going TOO FAST...

Post your problems over in the tech section, there are enough of us that will be able to help you out.
Tread carefully on the main board, it can be a mine-field.
Welcome to the mad house.
