Looking good dude!

As for turn signals, I have mini bullets on the rear and turn signals in the mirrors on the front of my 14. I just cut the signals off the stock mount and retapped it to 5/16". There's a thread on it somewhere.

If you don't ride 2 up much you might remove the sissybar all together, that would clean up the back a lot. Or go with a tall bar. I have a Jardine extension on mine and I removed the toolbox and had a pad made so it fit right.

And that stock taillight has got to go!

Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming!!

I'm diggin the longer forks.  Wish it was in the budget this year, but no.....

Check out my post with my mods for my tail light/rear blinker refits.
And polishing those lowers would make a world of difference!

Dissapointing cause its so close

If i want to fit these ill just have to use a longer stem

3" long just like the others seen on ebay

if u have shorter mini bullets with the same look then please let me know

You can get smaller mini-bullets...  but what would it look like if you dremeled the back end of those ones, in a concaved profile, to make 'em 'fit' into the grab bar? Add a little clear RTV to seal?

Just a thought...

would look really cool if they were concave to fit around the grab bar, but i dont think they will look so hot when there is chrome missing from the end, and rtv to close the hole

Perhaps the difference between the 700/750 and the 800.
I know when I put a sissybar on an S50, the signal wire hole was offset with the fender wire hole.....the holes were aligned with the stock fender spacer in plate.

yeah thats what im guessing, that the sissy bar from a vs700 is shorter than the one from a vs800 just like the back is taller on the vs800

yeah that's the same as i have on mine, so that's original.   So im guessing you also have the shorter backrest?

Anyone with the longer backrest or vs800 care to measure center-to-center where the turn signal hole is and the grab bar hole is on the sissy bar?

Yep... the short (and better looking) original backrest.

Nope. Those are Vance & Hines Classic II slip ons, with the original headpipes. They sound sweet. Low rumble, louder than stock, but not too loud. I tried a set of Cobra's (like you have) and they were kinda loud, with a higher pitch when on the throttle...
