Goodaye, Matthew from Darwin. A crocodile tried to eat my VL1500 and nearly managed it but the passenger foot pegs saved it. Unfortunately in the process the frame was bent and the front folks were pushed back. Looks a bit like some idiot has tried to crack a U-turn without using his indicator at a No-U-turn gap in an island. Funny about that. Anyway he has no insurance and neither did I, so gota try a re-build. Does anyone know where I can get good VL1500, 2003 model frame and parts in Australia? Have to get out riding soon before I hit withdrawl bad.

Just getting used to this forum idea. Only had one good arm left and there starting on that one now. Broke the other in 18 places when truck came through red light at 80 kmh and went though the green at 80 kmh and squashed 4 vertabrae. This time they put a hole in my right elbow to the bone and my left leg on the shin. Don't know about anyone else but I've had about 6 major prangs and still haven't caused one yet. I'm 56 y.o. and guy's my age and a bit older tell me they just had to guve their bikes up cause people can't drive cars without hitting motorcycles in Darwin. I'll carry before I give up.
